THE FREE WAY
Create a blog that appeals to many people to generate traffic, without traffic you won't make money! Now you need an account with an affiliate network such as Google or Amazon. The Google Affiliate Network allows you to put banners on your blog while the Amazon Associates allows ads for items to be posted. Ex: You create a blog about fishing, you can use the Amazon Associates account to post ads for fishing poles. When someone clicks on the ad, it takes them straight to the amazon page with that item, and if they happen to purchase that item, you will get a referall percentage. This is all based on you being the "middle man" for advertisements and purchases. Think about it, if they didn't click on the ad on YOUR page, they wouldn't have sold the item! The best way to do this is to promote something that many people are interested in buying and cost a decent amount of cash (the more it costs, the more you will get in your percentage).
THE PAY WAY
I know many of you have gotten the emails about money making softwares that you have to pay for! The problem with that is, it may work for the people selling it to you, but it is because they have been using it for a long time and know how to work the software right! You won't know if it works for you and the possibility that it MIGHT is how they suck you in! Selling you that software is how they MAKE MONEY ONLINE!!! I'm sure you have also gotten the emails explaining how you can create your very own website and generate money from it comletely free! Guess what..... That is a lie! You can get a domain name and web hosting for free, but the free packages lack the ability to generate money like not being able to have ads or banners on your page. If you want to make money online, pay for a web hosting account, put ads and banners on your page, as long as you have something people are looking for you will make it back easily! Go to sites like Doteasy, Brainhost, GoDaddy, or Hostmonster to get a domain name and web hosting account. Buying a webhosting account for a year or two is better than buying one for a month. If you buy one for a month, Google will see no point in putting your site towards the top of the list because it won't be around for long! Now, i have used a few different cheap sites for web hosting and one of the ones I like is Yola! Many sites explain their "easy to use" platforms, but this one really is easy. The free hosting is good, but of course when you upgrade it will be better. Try it out!
Now, you are probably thinking "what do i blog or make my site about?" Google Adwords has a keyword tool, and all you do is type in a category or phrase and it will produce a list of related keywords that have actually been searched for on google! It will show you how often a month they are searched for globaly and locally on top of the competition rate. Find something that has a high search rate with a low competition rate. You can use instantdomainsearch.com to type in the keywords and it will tell you if it has been registered already as a site. Once you find one that you like and it hasn't been taken, BUY IT! Having a domain name matched to the search allows for better chances of being looked at since the keyword is in your domain name.
Posting on a blog can be a pain, but if it is put together well and it drives traffic, it is worth it! Luckily you don't have to worry about that with your site!!! Go to wordpress.org and download wordpress. Once it is installed, you can install a plug-in called Unique Article Wizard into wordress. What this does is, after you type in your categories and keywords into UAW, it searches within itself for articles that have been posted to it and automatically posts them to your site so you dont have to! Now all there is to do for your site is put up ads and banners. Create an account at cj.com (commission junction) for your site and search for banners related to the content, join the Affiliate Program for that product and insert them into your site and that's it!!!
Once you have either of these completed just sit back and see what happens or you can start driving traffic right away by promoting it! Go to Facebook or any other social network and get your blog or site out there for people to see! Many people might be interested but just don't search for it and that is how you drive more traffic.... By taking it to them!!! Well, that's it, I hope this helps and good luck!!!
